School of Education and Human Development

Online Learning

Completing a degree or changing careers is an exciting prospect but it requires a lot of time and effort.  Sometimes work and life commitments make it challenging to make the trek to campus every week for classes.  The School of Education and Human Development has recognized this barrier for our students and now offers many online courses.

A few of our programs are entirely online (including Adult and Higher Education, Special Education, and Educational Psychology), which allows students from anywhere to get their degree!  These programs offer a special e-tuition rate which is lower than the traditional out-of-state tuition fee.  In addition, most programs within the school offer a significant portion of their classes online for maximum convenience.  Courses may be offered in a blended (meet some weeks on campus), synchronous (every student logs in at the same time each week), or asynchronous (no set times for completing work) formats to meet needs for most students.
