Reading Matters to Maine is offering a limited number of scholarships for those enrolled in SPY 427 and SPY 627: Multi-Tier Reading Instruction for General and Special Education for spring 2017 semester. SPY 627 is offered synchronously online on Mondays from 7:00-9:30pm starting January 23, 2017.
You are eligible to apply for this tuition scholarship if you are:
- enrolled in an evidence-based reading course, such as SPY 427/627: Multi-Tier Reading Instruction,
- Maine resident,
- undergraduate or graduate teacher candidate in general or special education, literacy, or TESOL as well as teachers and educational technicians who teach reading/language arts. Preference will be given to such applicants teaching or planning to teach in grades kindergarten through grade 5 followed by K-12 special education and ESL and TESOL teachers.
Students receiving tuition payment or reimbursement through their school or other organizations, will not be eligible.
