About the clinic:
USM Women’s Soccer is excited to host our inaugural summer ID clinic for soccer players from grades 10 – 12th. The aim of our clinic is to introduce players (and parents) to the college process. We will have an admissions presentation and Q&A with a panel of players and coaches. Players will have the chance to work directly with the entire USM Women’s Soccer Coaching Staff, including Head Coach Seth Benjamin and Associate Head Coach Brendan Michael, and Assistant Coach PJ Singh. They will also receive instruction from players on the USM Women’s Soccer team and evaluations from the staff.

About the camp
The Brawlin Lobsta Wrestling Clinic series hosted by the University of Southern Maine will take place this year from July 10- July 13. The objective is to provide an opportunity for wrestlers to get quality mat time with some of the top college coaches around who have coached numerous NCAA National Qualifiers, All-Americans and a National Champion.
The University of Southern Maine program is coming off another successful season where they had two NCAA All Americans and a top 20 team finish at the NCAA National Tournament. This is a great opportunity to get on the mats with the USM coaches and learn techniques and tactics being used at the higher levels.

This is a great opportunity to work with the 2023 USM softball team coming off another successful season in 2022! This clinic will help all ages and abilities get ready for their upcoming seasons. Coach Jamo and her pitching staff will lead the pitching clinic, while the position players will lead hitting instruction. Each Sunday will progress based on the athlete’s needs and abilities.
The clinic will cover:
Infield and outfield as well as position-specific skills
Hitting, bunting and slap hitting
Pitching – beginner and advanced (no catcher is needed)

This popular clinic will allow players to learn proper pitching, defense and hitting techniques from the USM Baseball Staff and team. This clinic will help all ages and abilities get ready for their upcoming seasons.
The clinic will cover:
Defensive stations, including throwing, pitching, infield, outfield & catching
5 hitting stations that break down the components of the swing
Players are grouped by age and ability. Bring a bat and a glove.

Southern Maine’s Men’s Basketball and Women’s Soccer Programs will be hosting a four-day Basketball/Soccer Clinic for boys and girls ages 5-13 starting on Monday, April 17th and ending Thursday, April 20th at the Costello Sports Complex and Hannaford Field.
Parents have the option to purchase the full-day package that includes lunch at our cafeteria or a variation of just one of the sports and/or lunch. The clinic is a perfect way to get a little extra instruction before the AAU/Club season begins. Under the direction of Men’s Basketball Head Coach Rob Sanicola, Women’s Soccer Coach Seth Benjamin, the USM staff and players, the day will set a positive and informative tone for the season to come.
Basketball campers will have the opportunity for participants of any skill level to learn and practice the fundamentals of basketball (court awareness, dribbling, passing, rebounding, defense, footwork, and shooting techniques) through small-sided games. Soccer campers will play small-sided games & a player-centered training approach that will be the foundation of the development process. Fun and Development are the focus.

USM Men’s Lacrosse is excited to host a clinic for lacrosse players of all ages. Players will have the chance to work directly with the USM Men’s Lacrosse Coaching Staff, including Head Coach Sam Manders, as well as instruction from current players for the USM Men’s Lacrosse team.
Players will be separated based on age and will spend the first hour of the clinic working on their individual skills based on their position including stickwork, dodging, footwork, 1v1 defense, and more. The 2nd hour of the clinic will consist of small-sided games and competitions. The goal of the clinic is to increase the player’s lacrosse IQ and reinforce fundamentals in addition to having fun and instilling respect for the game of lacrosse.
Players must bring their equipment and can wear their own reversibles and shorts. Players should wear cleats for the turf and bring a pair of flat shoes in case it is moved inside to the Fieldhouse due to weather.
We look forward to working with players to help them gear up for their season.
