Stonecoast Student Alexis Paige Wins New Millennium Nonfiction Prize

An Announcement from New Millennium Writings:

Alexis Paige, of Randolph, VT, has won the New Millennium Nonfiction Prize for “The Geography of Consolation,” an essay that examines the unique challenges of a writer’s life, the long fallout of an emotional affair, and the inevitable realization that no matter how far or often we roam, the internal journey still lies before us (‘wherever you go, there you are.’) Paige will receive $1,000, a certificate to document her success, and publication both online and in the 2014 issue, which all contestants will receive this winter.
