Native American Waiver & Educational Program

The University of Maine System Native American Indian Waiver and Educational Program Office, located at the Wabanaki Center which certifies all new eligible students for all campuses.

The Center houses the Native American Indian Waiver and Educational Program and Room & Board Grant.

 

Students newly admitted to USM who indicate they might be eligible for the waiver program should work with the Wabanaki Center and their staff to complete the application process. Program guidelines, and the application are available directly off their website, https://naps.umaine.edu/.
