Multicultural Student Affairs Office

Students at the University of Southern Maine come from diverse cultural backgrounds, and our offices work to embrace and empower folks from all racial and ethnic backgrounds, with all sexuality and gender identities, and from all religious and spiritual traditions.

Current on-campus programs include:

  • Chai Chats (Tuesdays 3-4:30 Portland campus, Woodbury Center; Thursdays 3-4:30 Gorham campus, The Well)
    • Come join us for chai and casual conversation and games!
  • Social Justice Summit (March 3, 2018)
  • 18th Annual Drag Show (March 23, 2018)

 Interculturally-focused Student Organizations include:

  • Model United Nations Organization
  • Muslim Student Association
  • Queer Straight Alliance
  • USM Students Without Borders Association
