Costa Rica - Immersion in Culture, Community, and Language

If you are thinking about a career in social work, language interpreting, or other healthcare profession this travel course is for you! Spend two weeks in Costa Rica immersed in Spanish and Costa Rican culture. You will take Spanish classes and be involved in other fun cultural activities. Explore the culture of Latin America through a different lens while participating in service learning activities at various social service agencies. This SWO 344/544 course runs from January 2-13, 2018. Three (3) Undergraduate or Graduate Credits. Application deadline is November 3, 2017.

No prior knowledge of Spanish is needed
