Information for Non-Matriculated Students

Non-Matriculated Students are limited to taking up to 9 credits (3 courses maximum) without being matriculated in the MSW program. Only the following three courses are open to non-matriculated students, space permitting:  SWO 501 (Multicultural Social Work), SWO 502 (Critical Thinking About Human Behavior I) SWO 504 (Social Welfare Policy I), SWO 505 (Social Work Research I), and SWO 552 (Critical Thinking About Human Behavior II Note- You MUST take SWO 502 BEFORE taking SWO 552). Non-matriculated students taking graduate courses in the MSW program must have completed a baccalaureate degree. Non-matrics can generally register for classes in the latter part of November for spring semester and the latter part of April for fall semester.
