Stacia Fitch, LCSW
Stacia Fitch is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine School of Social Work and received a Master of Social Work degree from Boston University. Stacia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of clinical and management experience working with Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorders. She has had extensive training and practice in addiction and mental health treatment in all levels of social work practice. Stacia has been a part-time faculty with the School of Social work since 2002 and in 2011 she was hired as the Coordinator of Field Work. Stacia teaches many undergraduate and graduate social work courses including Methods of Social Work Practice I, BSW and MSW Field Seminar, Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Issues, and she has co-taught two international courses, Community Services in Belize and Costa Rica: Social Work Perspectives on Culture, Community, and Language. Currently, the Manager of Field Education, Stacia is responsible for Field Education Program and the placement of over 100 BSW and MSW students each year.
