Promise Peer Mentors play a pivotal role in helping to acclimate incoming first-year Promise Scholars to the USM community. Promise Peers serve as a mentor to students to aid them in their academic and personal success at the University. They connect with students through 1:1 meetings, as well as, community service projects and program events.

What's your major? Social Work with an Honors Minor

Favorite class your've taken at USM so far? Honors 215: Thinking in Honors and HON 499: Maine Model United Nations

What other activities or student clubs are you involved in? Gorham Campus Activities Board (GCAB), Honors Student Org. & Study Abroad

What advice do you have for first year students? "Get involved and push yourself out of your comfort zone to pursue your interests through as many opportunities as possible both on campus and off campus."

What do you want others to know about you? "I hope to move abroad next year!"
