Promise Peer Mentors play a pivotal role in helping to acclimate incoming first-year Promise Scholars to the USM community. Promise Peers serve as a mentor to students to aid them in their academic and personal success at the University. They connect with students through 1:1 meetings, as well as, community service projects and program events.

Favorite class your've taken at USM so far? PSY 371: History & Systems of Psychology w/ Prof Rikki Miller & EYE 129: The Chicken Course

What other activities or student clubs are you involved in? Eco-Reps & Mitchell Scholars

What advice do you have for first year students? "Make sure to take advantage of opportunities, but don't over-book yourself. It'll be a learning process, but just be conscious of that!"

What do you want others to know about you? "I really enjoy climbing trees and kicking old fallen apples, so going apple picking with me can be really embarrassing!"
