This course is designed for students in administration and teacher leadership and examines the theory and practice of staff development in schools and other human service settings. Building on current research on adult development, organizational analysis, and school improvement, students develop an understanding about the structure and process of staff development planning, programming, implementation, and evaluation. A final project applying class learning to a work setting is required. Cr 3.
