The Web CMS goes live next Tuesday!

You have put a tremendous amount of work into the new Web Content Management System (Web CMS) that will become the University's primary Web presence next week. Your work is what enables us to take the next step, to make the "beta" website live.

Tuesday, June 21, 2011 between 6 and 8 a.m. your work will be made available to the world as: usm.maine.edu.

Web CMS Launch Information -- May 18, 2011

A monumental amount of effort has gone into the development of USM's next generation website. Your work and time has been essential to getting us where we are now. Unfortunately it's not yet where we need it to be for an effective, public, launch. The content reviews that have been conducted revealed some gaps in critical content that need to be filled before our new site is accessed by students and others in the community.

Web Content Management System Update -- May 16, 2011

This Thursday, May 19 is our planned launch of the new Web CMS. We thank all of you for your hard work for getting this project to its current stage. Last week, the Web CMS team began reviewing sites for their completion of the minimum pages for launch. This week, all sites will begin receiving greater scrutiny.

As your sites develop and become ready for launch, we want to help you get all the right pieces in place and ensure you have all of what you need for a successful launch.
