Photo library access through Canto
The Marketing and Strategic Communications Department takes, edits, and organizes all photos taken by our department in the University Data Asset Management System (DAM), Canto, which currently houses over 80,000 images. Due to the rights on photos and how they can be used, we do not allow unlimited access to everyone across the institution.
We’ve therefore created a ‘Best Of’ USM Brand Gallery of photos, logos, and graphics for use by university staff and faculty. Whether you’re working on a presentation, website, flyer, or other project, the USM Brand Gallery brings together a curated selection of the best images from across USM — all in one place.
We’ve made it easy to not only find high-quality, on-brand photography, but also to download images in the correct size and file type for your specific needs. When you select “Download”, you’ll see a set of preset options designed for common uses such as web, social media, PowerPoint, and print.
If needed, you can also download the original image file.
