Your ACS meeting will be conducted either in person or via Zoom.
Important request information
- Provide 3 possible weekday meeting dates that work best for your schedule within the timeframe provided on the request form.
- Select “any available time” to provide us with the most flexibility to schedule your meeting.
- If you cannot attend a meeting during our available dates for each term, email us at usm.advising@maine.edu to make alternative arrangements.
- We’ll send a Google Calendar invite to your maine.edu email address with your final appointment date within 1 – 2 business days.
- The appointment will also appear on your USM Google Calendar (and in your MyUSM portal) for your ACS meeting.
- For online meetings, a Zoom link and directions will be included in the calendar invite.
- Check your calendar and your Spam folder!

Course registration is first-come, first-served. Plan your next term by scheduling your Advising and Course Selection (ACS) meeting as soon as possible!
We match you with an advisor who specializes in your major. If you want to change your major, please contact admitusm@maine.edu BEFORE you set up your ACS.
