University of Southern Maine Leadership worked with students, faculty, staff, alumni, USM Board of Visitor members, UMS Board of Trustees members, and the UMS Chancellor to identify our top 5 priorities and commitments for 2020 to 2025.
Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge the land and water that the University of Southern Maine campuses occupy, as well as the ancestral and contemporary peoples indigenous to these places in the Dawnland.
USM Master Plan
Essential to the future of our students, our campuses and surrounding communities, the Master Plan will help us align space needs, facility needs, and campus needs and allow the University to chart an exciting long-term strategy for growth that supports its academic mission.
Commencement
The University of Southern Maine’s 143 Commencement will be held Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at the Cross Insurance Arena.
