USM Libraries & Academic Research for Graduate Students (Virtual Workshop)
The Office of Graduate Studies, USM Libraries, and Graduate Research Opportunity (GRO) Program are excited to kick off the academic year with a graduate student-focused event about navigating the extensive library services available at USM!

Whether it is accessing databases, maximizing search results, or helping manage citations, USM’s information literacy librarians offer guidance and support for helping students maneuver
electronic and print resources at their fingertips.
Graduate students are invited to join this virtual workshop to learn tips and tricks for getting the most out of all the USM Libraries have to offer, in order to produce thoroughly researched and properly cited academic work. While this session will be recorded for enduring access, students are encouraged to join in real-time and ask questions to help boost their understanding of the full benefits available to them from the USM Libraries.
Please RSVP for this event by Thursday, September 18 to receive the Zoom link ahead of the event on September 19.
If you have questions about disability access or need to request disability accommodations (e.g. sign language interpreters, materials in print format, etc.), please contact the Office of Graduate Studies. Requests should be made as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for the accommodation process.
We hope to see you there!
