AI Resources for Graduate Students (Virtual Workshop)

Are you a grad student, ready to dive into artificial intelligence but don’t know where to start? Join the Office of Graduate Studies and Graduate Research Opportunity (GRO) Program on Wednesday, October 22 at 11:00 AM for a virtual workshop where we’ll provide an overview of the key AI resources available to you with your maine.edu account! Attendees will become familiar with essential tools like Notebook LM and Google Gemini, and learn about practical ways to integrate their features into approaching coursework and enhancing academic research capabilities.

While this session will be recorded for enduring access, students are encouraged to join in real-time and ask questions to help boost their understanding of the full benefits available to them with the AI tools at their disposal, using their maine.edu credentials.

Please RSVP for this event by Tuesday, October 21 to receive the Zoom link ahead of the event on October 22.

In the meantime, if you are curious about incorporating AI into your coursework, check out the USM Student Guide to AI and Learning.

If you have questions about disability access or need to request disability accommodations (e.g., sign language interpreters, materials in print format, etc.), please contact the Office of Graduate Studies. Requests should be made as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for the accommodation process.

We hope to see you there!
