The students of José Manuel Lezcano will present a classical guitar recital at Corthell Concert Hall on our Gorham campus. The recital will feature works by Fernando Sor (1778-1839), Isaac Albéniz (1864-1909), Francisco Tarrega (1874-1909), Heitor Villa Lobos, (1887-1959), and Leo Brouwer (b. 1939). Performing in the concert will be Osher School of Music undergrad students, Ben Ferrari, Tori Leonard, graduate student Oliver Waterman, Keene State College student Andrew Szmauz, and Keene State College alumnus, David William Ross.

Dr. Lezcano serves as Artist Lecturer in Guitar at USM Osher School of Music, and continues to serve Keene State College as Emeritus Professor of Music. Most recently, he served as Distinguished Visiting Professor of Liberal Arts (Spring 2022) at the University of Minnesota at Morris. Students from his guitar studio have frequently won Keene State’s most coveted awards & scholarships, and many have gone on to successful careers as educators and performers.
