Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training

A group of 8 students are seated, facing an instructor who is standing at the front of the group

Are you a graduate student who is interested in conducting research? Do you want to engage in responsible and ethical research practices but not entirely sure how or what that would look like? Then come join a free responsible conduct of research (RCR) training hosted by the Office of Research Integrity and Outreach (ORIO) and the Maine Regulatory Training and Ethics Center (MeRTEC). The event will take place on Friday November 3rd from 1 to 3:30 over Zoom.

This training will focus on:

  • mentor/mentee responsibilities and relationships within a research setting

  • conflict of commitment – allocating time, effort, or other research resources

  • Safe research environments

  • collaborative research

  • data acquisition and analysis

  • secure and ethical data use.

Click here to register.  A zoom invite will be sent a few days prior to the training.
