This concert will feature a variety of choral and instrumental works on the theme of weather and climate. The centerpiece of the program is the Maine premier performance of Rollo Dilworth’s masterwork Weather based on Claudia Rankine’s poem of the same title featuring the Osher Concert Band conducted by William Kinne, and the Osher Choral Ensembles conducted by Nicolás Alberto Dosman.
Graduate voice majors present a spring recital.
The USM Jazz Combo concert will consist of performances by USM’s instrumental jazz combos and vocal jazz ensemble. This concert will be stylistically diverse and will feature some of the strongest jazz musicians at the Osher School of Music at the University of Southern Maine.
