Costume Designer and Draper
Everything you wear says something, but with costumes, the statements are intentional. I think it is important to be playful, I love to incorporate a lot of colors and patterns into my work. I take a lot of inspiration from historical and vintage fashions, as well as folk arts. Incorporating the past gives us more options for self expression and more cultural contexts to work with. I give myself all of history and no limit on how much is too much in order to make art that is interesting and meaningful.
