Ivan G. Most is the President of Strategic Occupational Health Management a New England based management and engineering consulting firm providing advanced research on occupational health topics for area businesses. Ivan is a professional engineer licensed to practice in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maine.

Ivan’s research interests focus on the effect of work organization and environment on occupational health. He has consulted for many area companies providing health hazard reviews, corporate training and environmental assessments. In addition, he has published journal articles on engineering and occupational health topics. He is a member of the National Occupational Research Agenda committee on Manufacturing and the Maine Occupational Research Agenda steering committee. He is the current past-president of the Maine Indoor Air Quality Council. An Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of New England and an adjunct scientist at the University of Southern Maine, he teaches classes in Occupational and Environmental Health as well as undergraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering. He was the 2008 recipient of the Nelson and Small Prize for Excellence in Engineering Education from the University of Southern Maine.
