Samantha Coulombe

I love animals so much that I started roleplaying a character in Dungeons and Dragons who talks to animals and has a hawk for a best friend (as opposed to real life where I go on adventures with my canine sidekick, Bull). When not adventuring (in real life or D&D), I get overly excited when watching Bruins games and am an ice cream fanatic (Smiling Hills Farm is one of my local favorites). I am a competitive person who loves sports and I enjoy indoor rock climbing as my main form of fitness. I love learning new things and am in the final stages of a Master’s degree in Counseling, though my absolute favorite is learning new ideas from students. My UB coworkers have voted me “Most likely to continually re-read the Harry Potter Series” and while fantasy and graphic novels (comic books) are my favorites, I’ve started dabbling in memoirs and nonfiction. I’d love to hear any book/movie/show recommendations you’d like to share!
