Joseph Garrison

Joe joined the Upward Bound team in March of 2021 and is excited to bring his experience of working with different youth age groups to USM.

Since his move from Chicago, Illinois to Vermont, Joe has worked in elementary education, after-school programming, and various conservation organizations. With his move to Portland, Joe is looking forward to working with a program that supports the high school students of Maine in their search for their next step in life. In his free time, he can be seen cruising on his bike, roaming the golf links, and hitting the ski slopes in the winter.
