Lynn Eckersley-Ray, PhD, is a Lecturer in the Department of English whose specialties include 17C and 18C British Literature, literary theory with an emphasis in gender and queer theory, and film studies.  She currently teaches ENG 140: Reading Literature and 145: Topics in Literature, and has also taught ENG 100, 104, 120,  and 150.  She has been a Visiting Assistant Professor at Bates College, a Visiting Lecturer at Bryn Mawr College, and a Lecturer at University of New England, University of Southern California, Lehigh University, and Pasadena City College.  She has published work in The Eighteenth Century Novel, The Scriblerian, The Reader’s Guide to Lesbian and Gay Studies, and The New Dictionary of National Biography.
