Morgan Lee has built a dynamic career as a collaborator, soloist, and teacher. She recently graduated from the University of Connecticut with her Doctor of Musical Arts in piano performance, where she studied with Angelina Gadeliya. Dr. Lee also holds a Master of Music from Mannes School of Music and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University. She has participated in numerous music festivals in the US and abroad and has performed recitals in New York City, Italy, Spain, France, and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Lee has nearly ten years of private teaching experience and has served as an adjunct faculty member at Eastern Connecticut State University, piano faculty at the Bronx Conservatory of Music, and a teaching fellow at Mannes School of Music.

Dr. Lee relocated to Maine in 2022 and currently serves as staff collaborative pianist at the University of Southern Maine Osher School of Music, is the collaborative pianist for the Maine Music Society Chorale, and frequently performs as principal keyboardist with the Portland Symphony Orchestra. She also enjoys an active teaching schedule as a member of the piano faculty at Bay Chamber Music School and Stone Coast Music. Dr. Lee is passionate about finding new, unconventional ways to engage with classical repertoire, and wrote her dissertation on interdisciplinary collaboration as creative practice for classical musicians. She is committed to continuing this work to inspire her students and connect with new audiences here in Maine.
