Sarah Whitfield ’21G

Sarah joins the Foundation after six years in career services at her alma mater, Colby College. She holds an MPP from American University and is in her last year of PhD in Public Policy at USM. A native Mainer, Sarah spent five years in Washington, DC in education policy research after graduation and was a very active alumni volunteer leader. She’s passionate about the future of Maine and is proud to be working for an institution that will be such a critical part in that future. Outside of work, Sarah was elected to the Wiscasset Select Board, recently learned to sail, and occasionally fills in for the minister at her church. She resides in Wiscasset with her two cats, Nugget and Zuzu.
