Professor Caron is the former director of St. Joseph’s College Secondary Education program and a Science/Math Consultant for Auburn School System. He is also former Assistant Professor of Education at USM as Professional Development Director of Maine’s Curriculum Framework for Math & Science.
Doctor Caron’s career spans over forty years in teaching, from secondary schools to higher education. His research covers mathematics and science education in the K-12 grade levels focusing on interactive assessment and creative teaching. He teaches physics and biomechanics for the Natural Applied Science Department and is a University Supervisor for the Extended Teacher Education Program (ETEP) for the Teacher Education Department. He writes music and lyrics. Amen.
