Susan Estabrook

Sue is a strategic and relationship driven fundraising professional with a strong record of building collaborative teams and advancing successful annual giving initiatives. Most recently, she served as Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Reunion at Bates College, where she helped lead fundraising efforts, manage volunteer networks, and cultivate donor relationships to strengthen philanthropic support.

She now returns to the University of Southern Maine, the institution that first brought her to Maine in 2005 to serve as Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach and Manager of the Gorham Learning Center. She later spent more than a decade at the University of New England as Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach and Coordinator of Academic Support for Student Athletes, leading recruitment, program development, and fundraising efforts in support of student-athlete success.

A New York native, Sue holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Psychology from Marist College and remains active in the nonprofit community through her involvement with the Dempsey Center and the Breast Cancer Alliance.
