On February 8, the Muskie School’s Public Health Program held its annual Public Health Networking Event. The event connected current students with organizations where they could intern, apply for jobs, or do their capstone work. Approximately 10 undergraduate BSPH students and 10 graduate MPH students attended the event where they chatted with representatives from local health-related organizations over pizza and refreshments. Thank you to the following organizations for participating: Goodwill Northern New England AmeriCorps, Alliance for Addiction and Mental Health Services, Maine Primary Care Association, MaineHealth Institute for Research Center for Interdisciplinary Population & Health Research, Maine Public Health Association, and Portland Public Health.
