If you haven’t already: It’s time to activate your account.

  • You’ll need the Activation Key in your acceptance packet to get started.
  • For assistance, contact our help desk.

Once your account is active, you can start reviewing important information:

  • University email: Official communications will be sent here. Check it frequently for important reminders and updates.
  • MaineStreet: This is where we organize your student records, financial information, course registration, and more.

You and your family are invited to a day dedicated to learning more about the USM experience. Meet your future classmates, faculty, and current students.

  • If you’ve already applied for financial aid: You can view our guide for understanding your financial aid award. Learn more.
  • If you haven’t yet applied for financial aid: Your first step is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Our Student Financial Services staff are available to guide you through the process and to answer your questions. Get started.

Our scenic Gorham campus is home to nine Living Learning Communities where students of common interest join in academic, extracurricular, and cultural experiences together.

If you’d like to live on campus, it’s time to complete your housing application and pay your $75 housing deposit.
