Listed below are groups that are being run at the ROCC this year:

All Recovery Group: The All Recovery Group philosophy is based on the idea that we are all in some phase of recovery and that we all grow through a  deeper understanding of each other. This group meets every Thursday from 1:15-2:15 starting October 13th at the Portland location on the second floor of Sullivan Gym. Husky Hive: A Women’s Empowerment and Wellness group with music and snacks provided every Friday from 11-12 starting October 14th at the Portland location on the second floor of Sullivan Gym. For more information, contact Sarah Farrugia at sarah.farrugia@maine.edu

Impacted Other Group: This group is for anyone that has been personally affected by mental health issues or substance use, including family members and roommates. This is not a therapy group, it is a Peer Support Group where individuals can share their lived experiences and get support from each other. Let’s talk about it! This group meets every Wednesday from 4:00-5:00 starting October 12th at the Gorham location at 149 State Street in the white farmhouse. Black Women’s Empowerment Group: Providing a safe place for Black women to share their lived experiences and have support. This group meets every Thursday 4:00-5:00 at the Gorham location at 149 State Street in the white farmhouse. First informational session starting October 6th, group to begin October 13th. Community Lunches

Held every Thursday from 12-1 on the Portland campus, the community lunch is a great time to check out the ROCC space, have some good food, and meet some exciting new people!
