Frank F. Brown Music Scholarship

Description

This award is given to a music major selected by the music faculty. The recipient must be of junior standing or above. Preference has historically been given, but not limited to a string player.

This Scholarship was established in 1962 by friends, relatives, and organizations in memory of Mr. Brown who founded a community orchestra in Gorham village. This scholarship is awarded to a deserving student majoring in music.

Eligibility

  • Student must be a music major
  • Enrolled in at least 12 credits per semester.
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.67
  • Enroll in applied music and appropriate ensembles.
