Description
Through the generosity of donors the College of Education (COE) awards scholarships to 50-75 students per year from more than 40 scholarship funds. Only one scholarship application is required to apply. Students eligible to apply are current undergraduates who are in a teacher education pathway, admission applicants applying to a COE graduate program, and new and current graduate students who are matriculated in a program within the college. Awards are subject to available funding and based on a number of individual criteria with specific scholarships. Eligibility
To be eligible for a College of Education scholarship award students must:
- be current matriculated undergraduates who are in a teacher education major or pathway or,
- be new or current graduate students who are matriculated in a program within the College of Education,
- be enrolled in at least six credits in the semester/s in which awarded, and
- fulfill additional criteria, if required, based on individual scholarships, for example: residing in a specific county, be residents of Maine, or maintain a certain GPA.
