School of Education and Human Development Scholarships

Description

Through the generosity of donors the School of Education and Human Development (SEHD) awards scholarships to 50-75 students per year from more than 40 scholarship funds. Only one scholarship application is required to apply. Students eligible to apply are current undergraduates who are in a teacher education pathway, and admission applicants applying to a SEHD graduate program, new and current graduate students who are matriculated in a program within the School of Education and Human Development. Awards are subject to available funding and based on a number of individual criteria with specific scholarships. Eligibility

To be eligible for a School of Education and Human Development scholarship award students must:

  1. be current matriculated undergraduates who are in a teacher education major or pathway or,
  2. be new or current graduate students who are matriculated in a program within the School of Education and Human Development,
  3. be enrolled in at least six credits in the semester/s in which awarded, and
  4. fulfill additional criteria, if required, based on individual scholarships, for example: residing in a specific county, be residents of Maine, or maintain a certain GPA.
