Prepare to take national certification examinations, including the American College of Sports Medicine’s Certified Personal Trainer® and Certified Exercise Physiologist® examinations and the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® examination.
Program requirements
Learn to utilize science, research methodologies, and practical application to study the effects of exercise on human health. This includes learning how to recognize and evaluate cardiovascular, pulmonary, and metabolic functions and using this information to help your clients improve their health and fitness.
