shadow/echo/memory exhibition opening
Join us for the opening of shadow/echo/memory, the exhibition associated with the 2023 University of Southern Maine Artist-in-Residence, Veronica A. Perez. Throughout the Spring semester, Veronica has worked with groups internal and external to the University in braiding workshops. Together, they have created the braids we see and shared the stories embedded in the sculptures. Join us for the opening of this exhibition focusing on belonging, identity, and lived experience, as embodied through hair.
