NEW DATE: Osher School of Music 47th Honors Recital
Due to the forecast for significant snowfall on March 23, this event is postponed to March 30, 7:30 p.m. All tickets will transfer to the new date. Tickets reserved from now on will be accepted on the March 30 date.
The annual Honors Recital showcases the School of Music’s most accomplished undergraduate soloists and composers, who are selected by audition before an outside jury of professional musicians. The audience will be treated to a varied mix of instruments, voices, and styles of music, ranging from classical to musical theater to jazz. The names of the winners will be engraved on the permanent plaque hanging in Corthell Hall that lists all Honors Recitalists since the inception of the event in 1978.
The 2024 Honors Recitalists are Karoline Brechter, musical theatre voice; Kallie Brown, musical theatre voice; Scott Barber, composer; Benjamin Clouse, musical theatre voice; Ben Ferrari, guitar; Matthew Jones, piano; Grant Kelly, piano; Josie Lawrence, jazz voice; Andrew Marcotte, voice; Michael Mitchell, musical theatre voice; Mackenzie Renner, piano; Bella St. Cyr, voice; and Jared Vigue, voice.
Free and open to the public, reservation is recommended.
