Southern Maine Music Academy Final Concert
The in-person concert time is only on Saturday, July 15 at 2 p.m. The virtual performance will be available for two days. RSVP for both in-person and virtual tickets.
On the front lawn at Corthell Hall on the University of Southern Maine campus, families of summer campers will enjoy an outdoor concert band concert performed by the Southern Maine Music Academy (SoMMA) campers, directed by Will Kinne. The concert will include a performance by the SoMMA Jazz Band, directed by Matthew Lagarde.
This exciting, yet demanding, eight-day program gives high school musicians the opportunity for musical development through group and individualized instruction provided by qualified staff and professional musicians. All academy members participate in concert band, instrument sectionals, and small ensembles.
The concert is free. Reservations are required for in-person concert hall attendance in the event the concert has to be moved indoors, with first preference going to the first three persons from each camper’s family.
