On-campus student employment is a great way for students to earn income through federal work study and other means, connect work with academics, and engage with peers, faculty and staff members across the University!

Departments as varied as Athletics, Learning Commons, Mail Services, WMPG, Free Press, Music, Theatre, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and many others across the University offer on-campus work opportunities to students. Work-study opportunities pay between $17.00 and $18.00/hour.

When completing the FAFSA, make sure to indicate your interest in federal work study so you can take advantage of these great opportunities!

Campus Employment Connection

Students interested in learning more about on-campus employment, especially federal work study, are encouraged to check out Campus Employment Connection, a program designed to connect students to on-campus employment opportunities and which includes a paid component ($17.00/hour) consisting of orientation and training.

A signature federal work-study opportunity, the America Reads and America Counts Challenge is a comprehensive, nationwide effort to create in-school, after-school, weekend and summer tutoring programs in reading and mathematics.
