The University of Southern Maine’s 145th Commencement Ceremony will take place at 9am on Saturday, May 10th, 2025. Please complete the application to graduate by the March 1st deadline in order to participate in Commencement.

Doctoral Graduation Ceremony

The Doctoral Graduation Ceremony will take place in Hannaford Hall on the Portland campus on Friday, May 9th at 4pm.

Need to order your cap & gown?

Graduates planning to participate in the 2025 Commencement Ceremony can now place their regalia orders!

Pick-up begins on Wednesday, April 30th at the University Store Office at Glickman Library Room 150 during regular business hours.
