I received my Undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Northern Illinois University. I completed my M.A. and Ph.D. at DePaul University in Chicago, with a Dissertation entitled “The Ethical and Political Implications of Social Typifications in the Philosophies of Jean-Paul Sartre and Alfred Schutz.”

My areas of interest in Philosophy are in applied ethics including bioethics, environmental ethics, social media, cybersecurity. I am a member of the American Philosophical Association, the Society for Phenomenology and Existential Philosophy, the American Association of Bioethics, the Sartre Society, the Beauvoir Circle, and the Radical Philosophy Association. My favorite Philosopher is Jean-Paul Sartre.
