Laurie began working for the University of Southern Maine in January 2018 and is currently an Associate Director of Academic Advising, primarily advising Nursing students. She sits on the School of Nursing Undergraduate Admissions and Advancement Committee and plays an active role in maintaining the School of Nursing Virtual Handbook, revising policies, and tracking progression.
Laurie attended the University of Southern Maine, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship. She continued her studies at USM and earned a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies.
In her spare time, Laurie enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her grandson. She also enjoys baking cookies and French macarons and making chocolates.
