Helen Gorgas Goulding is originally from Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, and began working for the University of Southern Maine in 1986 as a Resident Director in Gorham. She also worked for many years as Director of Commuter Life and Recreation as well as Assistant to the Vice President for Student and University Life on the Portland campus.
She is currently the Senior Associate Director For Academic Advising and acts as one of the Professional Advisors and liaison to Engineering, Psychology, Theater, History, and Undeclared students. Helen enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, and loves movies and gardening.
