Sarah Parker is a family nurse practitioner and educator with a clinical focus on pediatric and adolescent health.  Sarah has a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Boston College. Her clinical work has included extensive inpatient nursing care at Boston Children’s Hospital as well as clinical time in the Adolescent Clinic Boston Children’s Hospital. In 2015, Sarah was the Nurse Practitioner Fellow for the Leadership in Adolescent Health (LEAH) Fellowship Program. Sarah comes to USM with experience as an adjunct faculty member at Northeastern University with a focus on didactic teaching in the field of pediatrics as well as hands-on clinical instructing in the hospital and lab settings. Sarah has participated in research involving adolescent reproductive/sexual health and substance use in the Adolescent Clinic at Boston Children’s Hospital as a study counselor and nurse consultant. Sarah’s areas of research interest include adolescent behavioral health, sexual reproductive health and motivational interviewing.
