Jane Kuenz joined the Department of English at the University of Southern Maine in 1995. A past Chair of the English Department, she now serves as Associate Dean of the School of Business. Her published research on American literature, African-American literature and cultural studies includes Strip Cultures: Finding America in Las Vegas and Inside the Mouse: Work and Play at Disney World and essays in Modernism/Modernity, Cultural Critique, Yale Journal of Criticism, African American Review, South Atlantic Quarterly.
