Pam LaRiviere

Pam LaRiviere is the Administrative Specialist (level III) for the Department of English. She has worked at the University of Southern Maine since December of 1988, her first twenty years with the Center for Real Estate Education and, since July 2009, with the Department of English. Pam holds a BS in Elementary Education from St. Joseph’s College, Windham, Maine. She provides administrative support for the department and approximately 30 full and part time faculty in Portland and Gorham. Among her various duties are frequently assisting students, scheduling classes, maintaining the department website, marketing including a newsletter and other promotional materials, logistics for the yearly O’Brien Poetry Event and Faculty Lecture Series, and monitoring the financials.
