Jamie Brooks

Jamie Brooks brings over a decade of experience in child welfare, grounded in both lived and professional expertise.

Her work focuses on strengthening how systems engage with families by advancing family engagement strategies that center the voices and experiences of parents. She develops and delivers trainings and provides coaching to support the skill development of parents with lived experience that strengthen collaboration between parents and professionals.

She has contributed to state, regional, and national initiatives to improve child welfare policy and practice. She serves on the Maine Child Welfare Advisory Panel and Maine’s Justice for Children Task Force.

Jamie is committed to building more responsive and collaborative systems where families are understood, supported, and meaningfully included in decisions that affect them.
