Denise Yob

Denise provides epidemiologic analysis, surveillance and support to Maine CDC programs including the Maine Cancer Registry, the Maine Asthma Program, the Maine Birth Defects Registry, Children with Special Health Care Needs, Maine Maternal, Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Panel, the Maine Injury Program, and Maine’s Maternal and Child Health Title V program.

Denise has worked with numerous datasets including vital statistics (births and deaths), health service data such as the Maine hospital inpatient and outpatient datasets, survey data such as the Behavior Risk Factor Surveillance System, surveillance data including the Maine Cancer Registry and Maine Birth Defects Registry, program data such as the Maine Community Health Nursing dataset, and U.S. census data. She has experience using a variety of software including SAS, Sudaan, ArcGIS, SEER*Stat, InstantAtlas, Excel, and Access.
