Jill supports students and faculty who use primary sources, archives, digital tools, and other library resources in their scholarship, teaching, advocacy, and creative projects. She leads digital initiatives, provides reference consultations for Special Collections, and offers instruction on primary source literacy, scholarly communications, and copyright in collaboration with the Reference & Instruction team.

Prior to joining Libraries & Learning in 2021 as Special Collections Librarian, Jill worked as a public librarian, museum librarian, historic preservation technician, salesperson, barista, and farmhand. She loves cultural heritage and the environment. A proud first-generation college graduate, her educational background is interdisciplinary and experiential. She seeks to make scholarship accessible to all through participatory learning methods.
